This Voice sack backpack is a tribute to activist Viola Desmond, an African-Canadian woman recognized for being an example in the fight for civil rights in Canada. In this collection, Anekke is inspired by her story to launch a message of love and respect: Find your voice, and fight for what you believe in!
This women's backpack is large in size and features pockets on the front and back. It is a very lightweight model, especially for hiking or working out, going to festivals or concerts, or traveling.
The main print features the image of Anekke leading a crowd as they demonstrate for peace and equality. It is a backpack in shades of gray, blue, ochre and maroon, combined with embroidery and a handmade style finish. The backside features a multi-color print with peace messages and a decorative patch.
The backpack has two thin cotton backpack handles, which when adjusted gives the backpack that original sack shape. The interior is lined with an original fabric printed with motifs from the collection.
Finally, don't forget the details! You can find some like the logo with different tones and textures, symbolizing the union between different races and ethnicities, embroidery and personalized handles.
